One morning last week, Ed took Alex and I wine tasting!
We went to an area located about 15 minutes from Pat’s, called Waterkloof. And what we came to was this super modern building in the middle of large areas of vineyards.
It was a building with very fancy architecture and the interior was very fancy and classy! They also have quite a famous restaurant there, where they make experimental type of food – it looked very delicious!
It was a bit chilly the day we went, so they had a very cozy fire going, which we sat around while we sipped (tasted!!) some reds and whites.
There is a recent movie which came out called The Giver, which is based on a book I read back in 6th grade. Meryl Streep amongst other quite big actors are in it and part of The Giver movie is filmed in the basement at Waterkloof. So of course, we took a picture with the area which was used in the movie behind us.

Alex and I watched the movie when we got home that night – I would really recommend it to anyone who hasn’t watched it yet!
There was also a Mercedes meet up when we were there – quite the parking lot!!
A fun place to visit, and I having a feeling my dad would enjoy it when the family comes down for Christmas.

Hei Anna. Flott sted og tøff arkitektur. Petter og de andre kommer til å storkose seg :-). Må si at området du bor i er fyldt med kontraster, det får i alle fall meg til å tenke på de store forskjellene og på hvor viktig det er å bidra for å hjelpe. Lykke til med dykkerkurset i helgen. Glad i deg ❤

Ja det er virkelig forskjeller! Rart å tenke på at det er så store forkjeller på så kort distanse. Det var veldig gøy å hjelpe Frida forrige helg forresten, fikk meg til å tenke litt også – interresant tema !
