If you’re missing the sun up in Europe – the numerous sun pictures in this post might make up for it 🙂
Yes, I am a sunset person – I could watch sunsets all day long and not get tired of it. So that’s why I brought Amalie and Alex with me to a restaurant in Camps Bay last Sunday. And what a a sunset we saw!
Camps Bay is located on the West Coast – a perfect place for sunsets!
It wasn’t hard getting some gorgeous shots of the sunset as the sun seemed to be swallowed by the ocean!
We went to go eat at the Paranga restaurant. Delicious food, but next time we’ll probably book a table to make sure we see the sunset all the way. We weren’t exactly the only ones who wanted to see the sun go down – it was packed everywhere!
Fancy dinner for three
Despite not having booked we still had quite the view from our table though!
We ended the night with this view and an ice cream so life was pretty good!
It really is just quite satisfying to see beautiful scenes like those – makes life seem just so peaceful and you really do forget all worries. To say the least, I’ll be going back to Camps Bay, maybe a picnic on the beach next time? That’s one of the things I love about Cape Town, finding a way to spend your time is never a problem and nature is so close at all times. Sunsets, the ocean, parks, and be it picnics on the beach, in the grass, in restaurants or just having a stroll around with an ice cream – the possibilities might just be endless!
I now only have one week left at Fikelela and at Pat’s, but I’ll be make sure to make the most of it!
